It’s been a hugely busy few months but, finally, my exhibition ‘Through Ice and Fire’ is now open at the Polar Museum, Scott Polar Research Institute, Cambridge UK. This work results from a collaboration with Dr Joanne Johnson of British Antarctic Survey and is an insight into my practice as a contemporary artist exploring what Joanne does as a Geochemist, working at the forefront of scientific climate research.
This last few weeks in particular has been a whirlwind - but an exciting one! I’ve so enjoyed working with the Polar Museum team on the installation of my work. Everyone has worked tirelessly to make this the best exhibition it could be, and for that I am hugely grateful! There are multiple layers to the exhibition, with information available throughout and additionally via QR codes which link to audio and video clips and additional web pages.
The exhibition will be open until June 2026 and I’m looking forward to undertaking talks and workshops along the way. For information on all aspects of this show and for links to the individual works, please see Polar Museum Exhibitions or Paintings and Sculpture
Here’s a glimpse into the Private View opening and my interview with Jamie Tucker of That’s TV Cambridgeshire. This is the finished video that was broadcast.
