Materials: Anthropogenic rock (copper slag waste), pewter, a fragment of ancient raised pebble beach, ice (no longer present)
There are four materials in this piece, all carefully chosen for their own individual stories.
When brought together in a particular way, however, their dialogue intensifies.
My creative process aligns modern industrial with ancient nature to reflect our current global warming predicament.
